SAMOSA
To prepare 10 samosa
INGREDIENT :100g Flour , 150g of minced meat , Vegetable oil , Water , Salt , 2 medium size Irish potatoes , 1 medium size onion , 2 medium size carrots , 1 handful of green peas , Curry , thyme , Red dry pepper , 1 seasoned cube
TOOLS NEEDED : Deep Frying pan , Gas or Stove , Roller , Hard Flat surfaces , Cutter
STEP 1 : Wash and diced the Irish potatoes, carrots and onions into different plates. Boil the minced meats. Add curry, thyme, 1 seasoned cube and salt to taste and set aside.
STEP 2 : Boil the diced potatoes, carrots, geen peas and onions with the stock meats till the carrots is soft. Then drain the water out.
STEP 3 : Pour some vegetable oil in a frying pan and set it on fire. When the oil is hot, sliced the onion and pour it into the oil, fry a bit and add the minced meat. Fry the meat until it is done. Add curry, thyme and red dry pepper and mix properly. Add the drained vegetables and mix properly and set aside.
STEP 4 : To make the samosa dough. Pour the flour, Add 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil, add a pinch of salt and a little warm water bit by bit and mix properly until you get a strechy dough
STEP 5 :Cover the samosa dough for like 20 minutes with an air tight aluminum foil. Then knead the dough to make it more elastic as seen above.
STEP 6 : Roll out the dough with a roller to about 3mm thickness Use a cutter to make a round cut on the roll out dough and remove the excess dough. Cut into 2 equal halves as seen above.
STEP 7 : Scoop some meat sauce into the the cone shape and cover it as seen above.
STEP 8 : Arrange it in a tray as seen above.
STEP 9 : Put some vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and fry until it is golden brown.
